What's On My Bookshelf Right Now - Reading Inspiration

What is on my bookshelf right now? Here is a rundown of things I'm into this month so far...

Art in America - The September 2011 issue has been a great read so far. I've particularly enjoyed the article on Katharina Grosse's exhibit at Mass MoCa and the feature on de Kooning. This issue is definitely worth picking up the next time you are at the bookstore.

Taking the Leap - This book is written by an artists for other artists. It's a great motivational read for visual creatives who are looking to organize themselves and move to the next level with their work.

Outdoor Photographer - The October 2011 issue of this magazine arrived this week in my mailbox. With the change in weather I'm looking forward to reading the issue and checking out the site for any Autumn photography tips.

Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know - I started reading this book because (as everyone knows) I'm a dog lover and have three dogs myself. This book intrigued me because I wanted to learn more about how my three dogs may be experiencing the world around them.
