Free Digital Wallpaper: Vintage Typewriter

I received great feedback from the last free digital wallpaper post. So I thought I would post another! I selected a vintage typewriter theme to celebrate ten days into the BlogHer NaBloPoMo writing and posting challenge. This is one of my photographs that actually served as a series of images for a save-the-date I designed for a wedding.

This theme is also interesting to me because I remember typing out my school reports on an old electric typewriter when I was just starting elementary school. And now I'm blogging from a laptop while I sit in my favorite chair---how things change! Even though I think they are impractical for day-to-day use, I still think a vintage typewriter evokes an inspired urge to write---perfect for the month of January.

In order to get the wallpaper, click on the size you need below and a new tab will open with the image. From there you can right-click and "Set as Desktop Background" or you can save the image to your computer and set it as your background from there.

Writing and Connecting

One of the things I want to work on this year is to focus more on my writing and creative side projects. I have a few ideas I would like to pursue that until recently have taken a back seat to everything else. Because writing begets writing, I have decided to follow along with NaBloPoMo this month.

In short, to blog throughout January for the purpose of writing and connecting with others online. The theme of Pressure seemed particularly appropriate, although I like to think of it as increased focus

As I'm deciding what I would like to work on in 2014, this January challenge seemed like fun, and I am looking forward to participating, as well as checking out the other blogs involved in the challenge. January is a great time to start a project! If you are also working on something new (creative, home projects, whatever has you excited) feel free to share it below!
