Today was a classic spring day complete with a light drizzle. The tree in front of our house is in full bloom. In fact, I do not think in the almost six years that we have been living here, that I have ever seen it bloom quite so spectacularly. The first storm we get will cast aside most of these flowers, so I'm glad I spent a few moments enjoying the delicate flowers of the tree.

Twelve Photographs: Spring Forward
Twelve photographs for Spring!
Yesterday the clocks moved forward an hour and it's one of those signals that Spring is soon to follow. I have been trying new things lately, and it's having a tremendous impact on everything I do. I've been working on photography, design, marketing, and other projects for the last few months which has been both rewarding, challenging, and I'm even going to say fun!
My thoughts have also turned to warmer weather, our garden this year, and additional bucket list items I have always wanted to try. Once I get a handle on my excitement, I plan on sharing with the blog, and I see an evolution taking place as I move through the year. I would like to share new adventures, up-coming projects, and of course, as many photo tips as we can all handle.
With spring around the corner, you will want to warm up your cameras. For a majority of the images above, I shot with my Canon EF24-70mm lens at an aperture of f2.8. I used a low ISO because there was plenty of daylight. If you would also like to experiment with your point and shoot camera, give the macro setting a try.
Last year my favorite subject to photograph was my garden, and the new rose bushes we planted. If you would like to share your favorite springtime photo subjects please share in the comments!
