Baum Faculty & Staff Exhibition 2012

This year my work is featured in the Baum School of Art Faculty & Staff Exhibition. The show features many talented artists and even though the opening reception has passed, the art will be on display until September 7th. One notable inclusion this year is the participation of the staff of the school in addition to the faculty. The Baum School of Art is fortunate because there are a lot of dedicated artists who help to run the facility. If you are in the area definitely stop by to check out this show.

CONTRIBUTING BLOGGER OVER AT HANDMADE IN PA

Summer seems like it is flying by and I know you can relate to what I'm talking about. I still want to take a moment to share that I have joined Handmade in PA as a contributing blogger. Handmade in PA features Pennsylvania artisans and is a blog of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen. I will be writing a bi-weekly series titled Art + Community which will focus primarily on artists and events in and near the Lehigh Valley.

I decided over coffee with a friend, that a summer themed farmers' market review would make a great introductory post. JB and I visited the Emmaus Farmers' Market on Sunday morning and had a blast. Camera in hand, I photographed some of the beautiful details of the local vendor stands, and walked away with some treats!  For additional photos and my full review, head over to Handmade In PA and read my post on the Emmaus Farmer's Market
