The year has 52 weeks which always seems like a lot to me until I get to about October and wonder how the year is almost over. I feel like I'm a productive person who probably tries to fit too much into an already busy schedule. Yet, I always feel like there is something additional I could be doing to make life easier or better. There's always something new to learn right? Well I've noticed the internet is passing around 52-week challenges. One that caught my eye is 52 weeks of organization over on Lifehacker. In our home I think we are about average for organization. After living here for a few years we have a better sense of what works for us and what doesn't in this space. I've been collecting ideas for a while on how I would like to reorganize everything but since that is just about every room in the house it seems too daunting! Not anymore---I want to create a space that is more useful but that will also help simplify living in general. I would also like to apply these ideas to my studio so that I can spend more time working on projects, and less time organizing my workspace. I plan on picking tasks from the challenge where applicable, and also collecting ideas from magazines, Pinterest, and other sources of inspiration. As things progress, I'll periodically share updates. Here's hoping I find something that works for us. And of course, if you've discovered something that has worked for you, please share below!
