A vase full of fresh cut flowers is such a small elegant luxury. I do prefer the simple elegance of cut flower bouquets that remind you of cottage gardens. The understated beauty of this type of arrangement really adds something to a room without trying too hard. Also, the new english style roses we planted smell amazing! It is the kind of sweet, clean, refreshing summer scent I wish to fill my home with all the time. Fresh flowers from your own garden are really one of summer's pleasures.
