OUT IN THE RAIN

"Reverie is not a mind vacuum.  It is rather the gift of an hour which knows the plenitude of the soul." -Gaston Bachelard

The rain today feels a little drab and murky, sort of like being lost in a maze of time. Winter always seems as if it will stretch on forever just before Spring arrives. I needed a small break this afternoon so I took a drive past the lake. Not much going on, even the boats & kayaks are still in storage. It feels like soup weather but I'm daydreaming of sunny hikes through the woods. I saw a robin by the water so I'm convinced it won't be long now until warmer weather greets us.
