One of my friends that I've known my entire life stopped by for a visit tonight. She's great, we have a lifetime's worth of memories and since we no longer live in the same state, we have to try to make time to visit when we can. Today she stopped by, we took some photos, and had pizza! What is so great is that I got to see her daughter who is now a toddler! I actually shot her newborn portraits over a year ago, you can check them out here.
When my friend and I were younger, there is a picture of us from around 5 or 6 years old wearing pigtails and roller skates. It's such a great picture because I feel like it says so much about friendship and being a kid at that age. So tonight when her daughter was also wearing pigtails, I just couldn't resist snapping a few portraits! Here are a few shots from tonight...
Isn't she so cute? I was amazed at all that she was saying, and she loved our dogs. It's always great to visit with friends!
PS. Please join us this Saturday, August 21st at 7pm for a Closing Reception of the art exhibit EMERGENCE at the Antonio Salemme Foundation. For additional information on the location of this event, please click here to see my previous post about the exhibit.
