Hi everyone! I hope you're having a fantastic week. It's been a little while since my last post, but things have been busy and I have some new images for you today. Over the weekend I had the chance to photograph a family and spend some time getting beautiful candid shots as they relaxed, laughed, and spent time together. It was a lot of fun and I'm still processing all of the images that I took on Sunday. I think we got a lot of great shots, and I feel that the session was a success!

Their son was so cute, and was smiling most of the morning. I hope to have some images processed soon to share with you. I do have two images, one of their son's feet highlighted by the natural light through the large window, and another is a portrait of their dog. He was very friendly and great with the baby as well!

I have another photo session scheduled for this weekend, and a few photography related plans to finalize for the spring and summer! I hope to share everything here on the blog as things progress.

I have done some portraiture work for a few families recently, and this week I received very positive testimonial thank you notes in the mail. I am so happy that everyone loves their photographs and that they had fun during the photo sessions. I am excited to be a part of something that means so much to these families. I am currently considering a testimonial page for this site.

My last thought for the evening is just to say thank you to the people who have been so supportive. You find friendship in unlikely places and it is amazing how people can encourage each other in such positive ways. Sometimes you aren't even looking for friendship and it finds you, and that is what is so amazing about life sometimes. I have a friend who always likes to say that she thinks life is like bumper cars and that incredible things can happen when you least expect it---I've always thought this was a cool way to look at it! :)
